Many of life’s challenges can lead us into depression.  Using hypnosis we can release the causes of depression and discover a better way to live our lives.  Often we block and bury strong emotions from the past, depression is often the result of this suppression.  In hypnosis we can resolve these difficult feelings and clear the depression.  Many people suffer from this, its helps to know that you are not alone in feeling this way.

STRESS - What is happening to you?

Adrenalin (a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands situated on the kidneys) - released naturally with excitement, but overexcitement or intense anticipation (stress) will over-stimulate the release of adrenalin.

  • Senses become more acute
  • Heart rate and blood circulation increases
  • Glucose and energy reserves are mobilized
  • Muscle activity is stimulated, often causing tightening
Your mood will affect levels of Adrenlin released into your system.  This is why it's important to be incontrol of your emotions.

Cortisol - this is also released into your system at the same time as Adrenalin.  As Cortisol rises and Adrenalin decreases you can experience side effects:
  • Depression
  • Anxiousness
  • Negativity
  • Mind goes blank
  • Tiredness
Other symptoms:
  • Higher blood pressure
  • Supresses thyroid function
  • Blood sugar imbalance
  • Lowered immunity and other health consequences
  • Impaired mental and physical performance

Our busy lives and the speed with which we move through every day is a big challenge to many of us.  Stress can often be the result, affecting not only the way we feel but how our bodies function.   We may feel panicked or suffer from palpitations or other nervous symptoms as above.  Hypnosis and EFT are wonderful tools to manage this.  We can’t always change what’s out there but we can change our attitude to it.
